Do you remember the way church used to be?
With a choir, where old hymns are sung, and the preaching was powerful
and Christ-centered. Do you long for fellowship with friendly,
loving people?
I have great news. Lee Creek Baptist Church is that church! These
'old time' principles have not changed over the years. Why
should they? Our loving God hasn't changed. We would love for
you to come and join us for a church service, the way it was
meant to be.

Each Wednesday at 6:00pm we will have a women's only Bible
study. This winter: "Twelve Extraordinary Women" by John
MacArthur. Also, The 7:00 pm adult study is a verse by
verse study of the Book of Revelation.

Word From The Pastor:
"Building on a Sure Foundation" |

1 Corinthians 3:11 |
|
"He is the rock, the foundation of the church." |
"Why that slogan?" you may ask. Without a solid foundation what
you are building will not stand. The wise man built his house on
the rock. A wise church must be built on the rock, too. A wise
person will stake his eternity on this rock.
What is this rock, or foundation? "Therefore thus sayeth
the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a
tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that
believeth shall not make haste." Isaiah 28:16.
About 750 years later Jesus came to the earth and gave his life
according to the scriptures. Paul wrote, "For other foundation
can no man lay than that is laid, which is Christ Jesus."
ICor3:11. He is the rock, the foundation of the church.
To try to build a church, a family, or a successful life on any
thing else is useless. Like the foolish builder who built his
house on the sand, when the floods came, his home was destroyed.
Do you want lasting peace, lasting joy, lasting love, and
everlasting life? Then your life must be on this foundation.
