Lee Creek Baptist Church was established in 1994 from a mission started by Concord Baptist Church. Since that time God has used us to glorify His name in this area. He has also done a gracious work in our hearts and gave us a renewed desire to return to our historic Baptist roots.
LCBC is committed to keeping our Baptist principles which we believe to be absolutely biblical. Some of these distinctive include: holding a high view of God and his sovereignty, the inerrancy and sufficiency of the Bible, an emphasis on sound doctrinal preaching, our responsibility to carry out the Great Commission and the importance of church
discipline. We hope and pray that our theology will continue to shape our methodology well into the future.
While some may call us traditional for still singing hymns and using the King James version of the Bible. We are not aiming to be old fashioned. We just have a firm conviction that God does not change with every passing trend and program. We invite you to come and worship the Lord with us." |
